The Heartsaver student workbook is usually required for Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED courses — it provides the foundational knowledge you’ll apply in class.
The BLS Provider Manual is the standard manual used in Basic Life Support (BLS) courses for healthcare providers — it covers CPR, AED use, ventilations, teamwork, and choking relief.

Charlene Davis is the owner and lead instructor of HeartOne LLC, bringing over 10 years of experience in the healthcare field. She believes everyone should train with heart and leave with confidence when learning CPR and life-saving skills.
For Charlene, this is more than a career — it’s her life’s mission. She founded HeartOne LLC to help individuals, families, and professionals be prepared for ANY emergency, because she knows firsthand how quickly lives can change.
As a single mother to children with special needs and terminal illness, Charlene understands the importance of preparedness on a deeply personal level. A few years ago, she was faced with a real-life emergency when she had to resuscitate her own grandfather — who is still alive today because of those skills.
Charlene’s passion, experience, and real-world knowledge make her training impactful, relatable, and empowering.
